Over the past few months I have been involved in a new product creation. The product is called Multi Profit Websites (you will find nothing at the URL yet so no peeking) this product is in my opinion one of the best websites I have seen in a long time. It is more than a website really, it is a gateway to your eBay store, your auctions, Clickbank, your very own content, affiliate sites, Google AdSense, and much much more. However it is not the website I want to speak about today, it is the guys who were actually involved in it.
When we first started creating MPW (Multi Profit Websites) I realised something, the need for a team and what the team could produce when we got our heads together. The team consisted of Myself John Thornhill and Dave Nicholson (Planet-Divinity). There was no way on this earth I could produce a product so vast and complex in nature, but so simple and easy to use. Yeah granted I have a college education and know a thing or two about web design and so on, but the ideas that were generated between us were phenomenal. The sort of ideas that you would never think of alone come bounding out in conversation, we were bouncing ideas off one another like I have never seen before, it was really unbelievable.
This is what leads me to say get your own team! Yeah ok you may be thinking “yeah right Dan, how do I do this?” Well here is how you can do it, ask yourself this, are you a member of any forums? Do you know anyone in the same business as you? Have any of your friends, associates, forum buddies got the same business interests or drive as you? There must be one of these options available to you, which you can use to create a joint product venture.
Take forums for instance, the www.warriorforum.com is full of marketers waiting for opportunities like this, newer forums like John Thornhill’s Powerseller Forum is also an excellent place to find product partners too. You do not need to go it alone anymore, you can use each of your team members to spur each other on, get a good 2 or 3 way team product out there, one which you could never achieve alone and you are in business.
Not only do you have better ideas and better input, you also have the chance to make more money from a single product. Your team product can be sent out to 3 different mailing lists, and placed on 3 different auto responders creating more revenue. Between your team, you can easily generate more JV partners, one guy in your team may know a big marketer who is willing to promote the product , where the rest of the team may not.
Using these methods and working together with partners is just another form of income for all the members in your team. Nothing is too hard to accomplish with the right guys on board with you, you can achieve even the hardest tasks. Why don’t you give it a go if you have an idea to share
Until next time:)

I have been online marketing since early 2005 where I started selling eBooks on eBay before the digital download ban. Once the ban took effect, I made the decision to take my business online and into general online marketing. eBooks were a good way to build affiliate revenue and mailing lists, but it was my blog and online marketing where I found my passion....

Hi Dan
This is an excellent post. I know from personal experience that it’s easy to get ‘bogged down’ in your own work and not take enough time to reach out to those around you.
I also know that when you do make contact with those in your niche, the increase in profits that flows from that can be huge.
Thanks for sharing a great post!

Hi Lee,
Thanks for the reply. I do feel we almost forget about team working and the value it has. Sharing product ideas and workload can generate a huge income with a lot less pressure:)
Nice post Dan,
Working in a team does have it’s benefits. But I think the best thing of all is you make yourself accountable to someone else. When you have others waiting for something from you it makes you work harder. And I usually need deadlines to make me work hard:-)
John Thornhill
Yeah Dan, well said!
I can personally recommend teamwork, I did not realise the power of this until we actually started brain storming ideas back and forth, the results were astounding! As John said, giving each other deadlines really helps too, even though I never hit mine!
Hi Daniel,
Of course I agree with what you’ve said (and everyone else sems to agree with too)…
Teamwork does work wonders…
T – together
E – everyone
A – achieves
M – more
I would still be in the dark ages with most of my sites if it hadn’t been for the help I’ve had from team players who have different areas of expertise than I do…
BUT — You come and mention this on a lovely new blog…. AND then tease us with a new project that sounds amazingly exciting…..
And no one bats an eye….lol
Looking forward to see what you’ve been working on (I remember you mentioning a project months ago, but had forgotten about it til now)
So is it just me that’s curious (or is that nosey)…lol

Thanks for all the comments guys!
‘Randy’ I’m not letting anything out of the bag yet, but this site is a truly fantastic product and we hope to have it ready in the next few weeks.
Dan
A fantastic post Dan, and I think your spot on!
I’ve not grown that much to work with you ‘boys’ yet, but hopefully that could change pretty soon.
Anyway it was nice talking to you via email earlier on in the week!
Thanks
Mark
Interesting thoughts there, all too often we regard people in the same game as us as “The Competition”, however you’re dead right when you say that quite often a collaberation will help all the parties.
I’ve done something similar in one of my mainstream businesses and it’s proved very worthwhile for both parties. In fact we’ve both gained access to a customer base that we just didn’t have before. Guess what ? It’s made both of us extra money, and let’s not forget, that is what it’s all about.
As Mark said, maybe one day some of us will be able to play with the “bigger boys”.
Onwards & Upwards.
Cheers
Phill
Thanks for your input Mark and Phill. Team work is just one way of creating more revenue and should not be overlooked. Only too often we go it alone, when we don’t need to.
You do not need to work with big marketers to achieve what you want, simply have a team with great ideas!
NIce thoughts Daniel it was really interesting and hopefully i think this could be useful..
